Classic Archtop Guitar

The contours of the Classic archtop guitar are inspired by the original Super 400 guitar introduced by the Gibson Corporation in 1934. The Classic’s 16 inch body size makes for a more manageable and comfortable instrument without sacrificing volume and projection. The articulate and balanced tone of the Classic is ideal for many playing styles and is especially suited to stage and studio work. Standard materials include: Sitka spruce, bigleaf maple, ebony, and ivoroid binding with contrasting purfling.
